Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 31 August 2026

1. About these terms

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the NextSite website at nextsiteuk.com and any website design services you request from NextSite. By using this website or submitting an enquiry, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or submit a request.

2. Services

NextSite designs and builds professional websites for small businesses. Services are offered through fixed packages and custom projects. Each package includes the features listed on the pricing page at the time of purchase. Any additional work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately.

3. Pricing and payment (GBP & HMRC)

All package prices are listed as “From” prices and may vary depending on the exact requirements of your project. The final price is agreed in writing before work begins.

All prices are quoted and payable in British Pounds Sterling (GBP). NextSite operates from the United Kingdom and keeps records of all income and expenses in accordance with HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) requirements.

For standard package purchases, payment is taken through Stripe at checkout. For custom projects, an invoice is issued with a unique reference number and can be paid through the “Pay My Invoice” page on this site, also processed by Stripe. A payment receipt or invoice record is provided for every transaction, which you should retain for your own accounting and tax records.

Unless otherwise stated, quoted prices are exclusive of VAT. If NextSite becomes VAT-registered, VAT will be charged at the applicable UK rate (currently 20%) and shown separately on your invoice.

Invoice payments are due within 14 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing. Work may be paused and completed websites may be withheld until payment is received in full. Late payments may incur interest in line with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

A monthly care plan is available from £25 per month to keep the website updated, secure and maintained. This is billed monthly in GBP and can be cancelled with 30 days’ notice.

4. Refunds and cancellations

Deposits and paid package fees are non-refundable once work has begun. If you cancel before work starts, a full refund will be issued. If you are unhappy with the work, please contact us and we will try to resolve the issue before any further payments are due.

5. Client responsibilities

To complete a project on time, you agree to provide the content, images, log-in details and feedback we request in a timely manner. Delays in receiving these materials may delay the project and may affect quoted pricing if additional work is required.

6. Intellectual property

Once the final payment is received, you own the final design and content of your website. NextSite retains the right to use the completed project in its portfolio and marketing unless you ask us in writing not to. Any stock images, third-party plugins or templates used remain subject to their own licences.

7. Third-party services

Website hosting, domain names, email services and premium plugins are not included in package prices unless explicitly stated. NextSite can recommend or help set these up, but ongoing fees for third-party services are your responsibility.

8. Limitation of liability

NextSite does its best to deliver a reliable, professional service. However, we cannot be held liable for any loss of revenue, data loss or business interruption caused by factors outside our reasonable control, including third-party hosting outages, plugin failures or misuse of the website after handover. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question.

9. Changes to these terms

NextSite may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page, and the “Last updated” date will be changed accordingly. Continued use of the website after changes means you accept the updated terms.
